There are three Sub Divisions within Argyll, Bute and West Dunbartonshire Division:
Dumbarton - This sub division provides policing services for Alexandria, Dumbarton and Helensburgh, as well as many rural villages including Cardross, Garelochhead, Gartocharn and Luss.
Key locations include - Loch Lomond Shores Visitor Centre, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, Her Majesty's Naval Base (Clyde), Royal Naval Armament Department (RNAD) - Coulport, Strathclyde Homes Stadium (Dumbarton Football Club) and Vale of Leven Hospital.
Argyll and Bute - Covering 2,549 square miles of Argyll & Bute Council area, this sub division extends from Oban, Dunoon and Campbeltown through a range of small villages to 26 inhabited islands off the west coast of Scotland.
Key locations include - Campbeltown NATO Jetty and Dunstaffnage Marine Laboratory (Oban).
Clydebank - This area includes the town of Clydebank and the village of Old Kilpatrick.
Key locations include - the Golden Jubilee Hospital and Clyde Shopping Centre.
