There are five Sub Divisions within Glasgow South and East Renfrewshire Division:
Govan - This sub division includes community areas such as Govan, Linthouse, Shieldhall, Drumoyne, Cardonald, Hillington, Craigton, Bellahouston, Ibrox, Cessnock, Plantation, Kinning Park, Tradeston, Mosspark, Corkerhill, North Pollok and Penilee.
Key locations include - the Southern General Hospital, Ibrox Stadium, the BBC media centre and the Glasgow Science centre.
Pollok - This sub division comprises south Pollok, Crookston, Southpark Village, Deaconsbank, Arden, Pollokshaws, Mansewood, Darnley, part of Cathcart, Auldhouse and Hillpark.
Key locations include - Pollock Estate, including the Burrell Collection, Leverndale Hospital and the newly built Silverburn Shopping Centre.
East Renfrewshire - This sub division includes Giffnock, Clarkston, Newton Mearns, Busby and Thornliebank; the Levern Valley communities of Barrhead, Neilston and Uplawmoor; the villages of Eaglesham and Waterfoot; small communities and a significant number of working farms.
Cathcart - This sub division covers Mount Florida, Battlefield, Kingspark, Langside, Croftfoot, Castlemilk, Carmunock, Simshill and Shawlands east.
Key locations include - the Glasgow Victoria Infirmary, the National Stadium at Hampden Park.
New Gorbals - This sub division includes the community areas of New Gorbals, Oatlands, Polmadie, Queens Park, Govanhill, Crosshill, Strathbungo, the western side of Shawlands, Crossmyloof, Pollokshields and Toryglen.
Key locations include - Glasgow Sheriff Court and Glasgow Central Mosque.
