There are three Sub Divisions within Renfrewshire and Inverclyde Division:

Paisley - This sub division consists of Paisley and its immediate surrounding area.

Key locations include - the Royal Alexandra Hospital and St Mirren Football Club.

Johnstone and Renfrew - The towns of Johnstone, Renfrew and Erskine are included in this sub division, as well as many small villages such as Houston, Kilbarchan, Lochwinnoch, Linwood, Bridge of Weir, Bishopton, Inchinnan and Langbank.

Key locations include - Glasgow Airport and Braehead Shopping and Retail Centre.

Inverclyde - Situated on the south side of the River Clyde estuary, this sub division includes Greenock, Port Glasgow, Gourock and Inverkip.

Key locations include - Inverclyde Royal Hospital, HMP Gateside (a major remand prison) and Cappielow Park, the home of Division Two football club Morton.
