There are four Sub Divisions within South Lanarkshire Division:
East Kilbride and Strathaven - Centred around the town of East Kilbride and including the town of Strathaven, together with Chapelton and other surrounding villages, this sub division covers an area of 110 square miles.
Key locations include - the East Kilbride Shopping Centre.
Hamilton - This sub division includes the towns of Hamilton, Blantyre, Larkhall, Bothwell, Uddingston and Stonehouse, as well as rural areas.
Key locations include - the Hamilton Academicals ('Accies') Football Club, Chatelherault Country Park and the medieval castle at Bothwell.
Clydesdale - This sub division's boundaries stretch from near Larkhall in the north to Dumfries and Galloway in the south, and to Ayrshire in the west and Lothian and Borders in the east. The main population centres are Carluke and Lanark.
Rutherglen and Cambuslang - The sub division is centred around the towns of Cambuslang and Rutherglen, which lie to the north west of South Lanarkshire Division.
