Attempted Murder - Glasgow

Officers at Cathcart Road CID are continuing enquiries after a man was assaulted in Castlemilk Road, Glasgow in the early hours of Saturday 24 October 2009.

At around 0010 hours on Saturday 24 October 2009, a 16-year-old male was involved in an altercation with two other youths.

As a result, he sustained serious injuries whereby a weapon was used, and the male was taken to the Glasgow Victoria Infirmary where he is in a stable condition.

The only description of the suspects is that they were aged around 16 - 17 years old, both were wearing dark clothing and there were several other persons in the area at the time who may have witnessed the assault.

Detectives at Cathcart Road CID would like to speak to anyone that may have been in the vicinity of Castlemilk Road around the time of the incident and who may have witnessed the attack or some sort of disturbance.
