That’s why we’ve restructured our community policing – so that it’s easier for you to know who we are, what we do and how to get in touch with us.

Local policing in Strathclyde is divided into eight geographical areas – known as divisions – each covering a number of multi-member council wards.  Every division has its own headquarters. 

 

Each division is served by a number of community policing teams.  These teams are built around the needs of local people.  They are responsible for responding to calls in the local area, as well as looking for long term solutions to key issues.
