There are hundreds of different jobs - so you could join us as a solicitor or mechanic, or anything from an analyst programmer, administration assistant, finance controller, or HR manager, to one of the vital positions in our contact centres and information resources departments. It's positions like these that really help us to achieve our goals and objectives, and they just go to show that you don't have to be a police officer to join Strathclyde Police.
Our vacancies are advertised on our website and with Jobcentre Plus, and in various other media such as newspapers and Scotcareers. Recruitment is ongoing - in fact, this financial year we expect to recruit around 400 people to join our police staff – so new roles are added nearly every week. Vacancies are usually open for two weeks. You can be automatically notified of all new vacancies by signing up for our weekly subscription service.
