Working together and building a safer community for our 133,960 population is a round-the-clock exercise. Indeed, add to that some 400,000 workers, shoppers and tourists coming to this vibrant city each day, plus 100,000 visitors to 800 licensed premises at the weekends and it's easy to see why we never sleep.
The area extends westwards from Glasgow Cross to Drumchapel, Blairdardie, Temple, Scotstounhill and high Knightswood and from the River Clyde northwards to the M8 motorway and Great Western Road.
