Cumbernauld and Kilsyth

The continually expanding new town of Cumbernauld is the main population centre of this sub division. Other towns include Kilsyth, Moodiesburn, Muirhead and Chryston.

The sub division is also intersected by the A80, one of the busiest and most problematic arterial roads in the country. The area is also home to Broadwood Stadium, home of Clyde Football Club.
